Safarihacks.com is a site dedicated to helping users of Apple’s Webkit based Safari browser find plugins, scripts, and hacks to give more useful features to the browser. The Safari browser now runs on OS X, Windows, and the iPhone. Using Wine in Linux allows one to run the Windows version of Safari on their Linux system. Originally released in 2003, Safari now has turned into a full-featured browser that rivals Mozilla firefox in terms of usability and security. Since 2008, Safari has been available for Windows, making this browser now run on multiple platforms including the iPhone. Many other platforms use the Webkit backend, including KDE’s Konqueror browser, Symbian S60 browser, and even Google’s newly released Google Chrome browser.
